Procedure for Featherlight Mineral Spray SPF 50

1. To a secondary vessel, add Phase A and start mixing until uniform. Add Phase B by mixing until uniform.
2. To the main vessel, add premixture of Phase C. Start mixing and add Phase D. When uniform, add Phase E with mixing until uniform. Then add Phase F and mix until uniform.
3. When both phases are homogeneous, slowly add Phase AB to phase CDEF by homogenizing until uniform

Appearance: White thin lotion

Viscosity (20 rpm, Brk, RV DV-II, T-D, after 24h at room temperature; mPa∙s): 2000 – 3000

Procedure for ZnO-Only Sunscreen SPF 30

1. To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing. Add phase B with mixing. Heat to 80°C and then add phase C.
2. To the main vessel add premixture of phase D, start mixing and add phase E. Heat phase DE to 75 – 80°C and then add phase F.
3. When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase DEF with prop mixing.
4. After 5 minutes of mixing, homogenize batch for 5 minutes, and then start cooling with central mixing.
5. When batch is < 50°C, add phase G with mixing
6. Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature, replacing any water lost to evaporation and mixing until smooth.

Appearance (25°C): Off-white lotion

Viscosity (10 rpm, Brk, RVDV-E, T-B, after 24h at room temperature, mPa·s): 3500 – 5500

pH as is: 7.5 – 8.5

Procedure for Daily Wear SPF 30 Cream

To a secondary vessel add phase A and start mixing. Heat up to to let SolaPure Glo melted, and then add phase B with mixing until uniform. To the main vessel add phase C, start mixing until a smooth gel is formed. When both phases are homogeneous, slowly add phase AB to phase C with prop mixing until uniform.

1. In the main vessel, combine and mix Phase A and heat up to 80°C with mixing.

3. After uniform, start cooling. Stop mixing at 60°C.

Procedure for Sheer Daily Wear Mineral Face Lotion SPF 30

1. To the main vessel, add Phase A and start mixing until uniform. Then add Phase B with mixing until uniform. Then add Phase C.
2. Heat up to 75°C – 80°C, then add Phase C.
3. Start cooling mixing to room temperature. When < 50°C, add Phase D and mix until uniform.
