Procedure for A Sprayable Caress

Prepare phase A dispersing the thickener using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson) for 15 minutes and heat it up to 75-80°C. Prepare phase B and heat it up to 70-75°C. Add phase B to phase A and homogenize for 5 minutes using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson). Cool down to room temperature under gentle stirring (50-100 rpm). Add phase C using a suitable dispersion unit (Silverson).

This Baby Wet Wipe with MAISITA 9040 is a low viscous solution that upon application, it soften and calms the baby skin with Almond Oil and pure Mays Starch.

The formulation features MAISITA 9040 is a physically treated native corn starch used as a rheology modifier. It  is produced by mashing, washing, and drying of corn followed by heat-treatment to reach a low plate count. This ingredient improves skin feel, reduces greasiness and stickiness of emulsions, and is a natural antiperspirant agent.

PROCEDURE

1. Heat phase A to approx. 80 °C.
2. Add phase B (80 °C or room temperature) to phase A while stirring.
3. Homogenize.
4. Cool down below 30 °C and add phase C.
5. Homogenize again.
