Procedure for Beard Gel

Mix all ingredients of Phase A until clear and heat up to 70°C. Add Phase B to Phase A while stirring and homogenize 2 minutes with Ultraturrax. Add Phase C to Phase AB while mixing moderately. Adjust the pH to 5.3 with citric acid while stirring.

This formulation features RICE PO4 Natural which is a special starch (phosphate cross-linked starch) based on rice used for applications in cosmetics. This ingredient shows a very good opacity, adhesion, and creaminess and does not clog the skin pores. Because of the non-swelling property of this product, the lumens of the pores do not widen, even after long-term application (contrary to native rice starch).

Procedure for Hair, Beard, and Moustache Wax for Men

1. Weigh the ingredients of phase A in a suitable container and heat until 75-80°C. A
2. Add phase B to phase A and homogenize.
3. Let A and B cool down until 60 °C then add ingredients of phase C and homogenize.
4. Fill the formula in molds immediately while it is still hot.

1. Heat Phase A up to 78°C under medium stirring. Disperse Phase A1 ingredient.
2. Add components of Phase B1 and heat up to 90°C until a clear solution is obtained.
3. Heat Phase B ingredients up to 78°C.
4. Add components of Phase B1 to B and heat up to 78°C.
5. Emulsify Phase B/B1 into Phase A/A1 under stirring.
6. Homogenize.
7. Start to cool down fast under medium stirring.
8. Add Phase C below 40°C and cool down to room temperature.
9. Adjust pH value carefully with high diluted citric acid.
