Synpro® stearates are metal soaps of stearic acid that are specifically structured to improve the performance of products in the personal care and cosmetics industry, including skincare, haircare, cosmetics, and hygiene products.

In powders:

  • Impart a lubricious feel and velvety texture
  • Aid in pigment suspension and even dispersion during manufacturing, as well as even application of color for the consumer
  • Provide anti-caking properties aging in the ease of manufacturing and ease of application for the consumer
  • Minimize the absorption of water to mitigate agglomeration

In emulsions and surfactant-based systems:

  • Act as secondary emulsifiers, supporting micellar structure to prevent phase separation
  • In oil phases, provide thickening and opacifying behavior
